Candy AI in a nutshell
Candy.ai is an adult platform for AI companions. You pick a character, or build one, and talk to them through chat. The companions have names, looks and personalities, and they respond in character. The platform can also generate images of them on request.
It is aimed squarely at adults aged 18 and over, and everything on it is AI generated. No human is typing the replies, and the faces on screen are not photos of real people, except in the case of licensed digital twins.
Think of it as three products under one roof: chat, images and, more recently, the video series we cover on this site.
Where Candy Shorts fit
Chat is interactive: you lead, the character follows. Candy Shorts flip that around. They are finished, scripted mini-series that you watch rather than steer, with episodes of about 66 seconds and a clear beginning, middle and end.
In other words, the Shorts are the platform's storytelling layer. They give companions a backstory and a situation, and they introduce viewers to characters they might later chat with. On our data date, October 20, 2026, the Shorts catalogue held 167 series and 929 episodes.
The series use the same token currency as the rest of the platform. Every series opens with free episodes; after that, each episode costs between 12 and 50 tokens. Our cost guide has the details.
Characters who jump from screen to chat
The neat trick of Candy.ai is that its characters are not stuck in one place. Several of the AI characters who star in Candy Shorts also exist as chat companions. Watch them in a series, then talk to them afterwards.
Margot Vey is the clearest example. She leads Couples Therapy With Margot Vey as a composed therapist who takes her sessions in an unexpected direction, and she shows up in other series too. On the chat side she keeps the same calm, controlled personality, so the conversation feels like a continuation of the show rather than a different character wearing her face.
Other recurring names include Mona Newman, Sp00kybby, Holly and Sofia Fletcher. The list below shows every character we cover, each with a page listing their series.

Characters versus digital twins
Not every face on Candy.ai is invented. Digital twins are licensed AI versions of real adult performers who agreed to have their likeness used. In Candy Shorts you will find twins of Riley Reid, Lexi Luna, Mia Malkova, Asa Akira, Bonnie Blue and Sophie Dee.
The difference matters. A regular character like Margot Vey is a fiction with no real person behind her. A twin is still AI generated, but it is based on someone real, with her permission. Twin series also tend to cost more tokens to finish. Our digital twins hub explains how it works and lists each performer's series.
Do you need chat to enjoy the Shorts?
Not at all. You can watch Candy Shorts without ever opening a chat. The series stand on their own, and the free episodes require nothing more than access to the platform.
Chat is an extra for people who want more of a particular character. If a series leaves you curious about someone, it is there. If you only care about the stories, ignore it and stick to the episode guide.
Plans and what they cover
Candy.ai sells subscriptions in several lengths. On our data date, the 12-month plan cost $3.99 a month ($47.88 billed yearly), the 3-month plan $8.99 a month, the 1-month plan $9.99 for the first month and then $13.99, the 2-week plan $9.79 and the 1-week plan $5.60.
The subscription is a platform-wide membership, so it is not specific to the Shorts. How many tokens a plan includes is something to check on the checkout screen, because that number decides how many paid episodes you can unlock. Our honest take weighs whether any of it is worth it.
Is Candy AI right for you?
If you are an adult who likes the idea of AI characters with a story behind them, Candy.ai lets you both watch and talk to the same character. That is its real selling point.
If you only want the videos, the Shorts work fine on their own, and the free episodes cost nothing. If AI companions are not your thing, you lose nothing by skipping chat entirely. Start with What are Candy Shorts? or go straight to every series.
